  • Uses the proven ball & spring valve in order to control boost levels very accurately.

  • Also known as a Dawes Device, Pressure Regulator Valve (PRV), Grainger valve, G-Valve etc etc.

  • **IT IS NOT A BLEED VALVE** This MBC does NOT bleed air off in order to regulate boost. Once the required boost level is reached, the valve will 'crack' open and allow the wastegate actuator to open.

  • Decreases spool time & turbo lag by eliminating wastegate creep (the wastegate sees zero boost until the set level is reached).

  • Even if you don't wish to increase boost above stock levels, this MBC can still be fitted in order to improve throttle response and reduce spool time & lag. Simply adjust to open at the standard boost pressure for your vehicle.

  • Suitable for a wide range of boost levels: Your vehicle's stock boost pressure all the way up to 30 psi (2 bar) can be controlled with this MBC.

  • Extremely high quality: The main body & hose fittings are constructed from solid brass, the adjusting bolt & lock-nut are stainless steel (will never rust), the internal spring is stainless steel and the ball is high-carbon precision steel.

  • Zero leakage: Constructed using high-quality PTFE thread-sealing tape. Also features a copper washer to ensure the locknut & adjusting bolt are fastened securely & completely airtight.

  • These Mechanical Boost Controllers feature a vent hole so that once the boost levels drop below the preset level (i.e. on overrun once you have taken your foot off the accelerator) the air between the actuator and the boost controller will be expelled from the system, allowing the wastegate to close & eliminating excessive lag between gear changes.

  • Maintenance-free unit.

  • Fitted in minutes: Simply fit in the air hose between the turbocharger & actuator (wastegate). Full instructions are included.
